Led by their team captain Joe Kelenjian, Training Manager, a group of Liftow employees joined thousands of other determined bikers on Sunday, May 31, 2015 for the 28th Annual Becel Heart and Stroke Ride for Heart. Together, they took over Toronto’s Gardiner Expressway and Don Valley Parkway, biking their way to the finish line to help the Heart and Stroke Foundation create more survivors.
So, what happens when dedicated Liftow employees rally together with 14,000 other cyclists on a cold and rainy Sunday morning? You get tired legs, sore muscles, but most importantly, a proud sense of accomplishment for having raised $3,700 in funds towards life-saving research.
A heartfelt thank you to all the sponsors who supported the team and helped them surpass their fundraising goal. And of course, a huge congratulations and thank to the Liftow biking team for showing such valiant efforts and commitment in the face of challenging weather. What a terrific accomplishment!
